Welcome to Barkbuddy (“we,” “our,” or “us”), an app that helps dog owners connect with each other for walking, socializing, and arranging meet-ups. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Barkbuddy.
  • You must be the owner or legal caretaker of the dog(s) you list on your profile

3. Services Provided

  • Barkbuddy provides tools for connecting with other dog owners, sending messages, schedulingwalks, and viewing nearby users.
  • Paid subscriptions may offer premium features.

4. Liability Disclaimer

  • Barkbuddy is only a facilitator. We do not screen or vet users or their dogs.
  • Users are solely responsible for their interactions and any meet-ups arranged.
  • Barkbuddy is not liable for any injury, damage, or dispute that occurs between users, their dogs, or third parties.
  • Users must ensure their dogs are properly vaccinated, insured (where required), and controlled in accordance with local laws

5. User Conduct

  • No harassment, offensive behavior, or illegal content.
  • No fake accounts, spam, or misuse of the app.
  • You may not use Barkbuddy for commercial purposes without our consent.

6. Paid Subscriptions

  • Subscription payments are processed through the relevant app store (Apple/Google).
  • Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Barkbuddy content and branding remain our property.
  • You grant Barkbuddy a non-exclusive license to display content you upload (e.g., photos, profile info).

8. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
  • You may delete your account anytime via app settings.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

  • These Terms are governed exclusively by Swiss law.
  • All disputes shall be handled only by the competent courts of Switzerland (jurisdiction: Lucerne).
